Star Wars Day
A bunch of us had ourselves a "Star Wars Day" in Boston last weekend. It consisted of going to the Boston Museum of Science for the Star Wars exhibit that showed costumes and props from all 6 films as well as some interactive things for kids that links current science and technology to what is in the the Star Wars Universe. It was a fun time, but to me for now it was more a social event. I'm gonna take my little one with me to see it in another month or so and spend a little more time at the museum and look at what I missed.
We also went to MIT to see the theatre guild put on "Star Wars: The Musical Edition". Basically they played out the original trilogy with musical interludes with popular songs tweaked to fit the story (Example: "Don't Cry For Me, Princess Leia"). Overall I didn't enjoy it as much as Charles Ross' One Man Star Wars, but if comes around again, I still HIGHLY recommend it if it every gets performed in your neck of the woods.
