Hell hath no fury like a Buick scorned...
As many of you know I have been driving a very well used '94 Buick around for the past 3 years. I picked it up in an auto auction for $1500 and besides having to replace the radiator and the starter it has treated me well. Every day she got me to 2 different jobs which were more than 50 miles each way and got me to Vermont and New York a few times as well.
But in the last 3 months the 'ol girl has been showing signs of severe age. I've had her in the shop an average of every 2-3 weeks, the windshield is leaking so every time it rains the front seats get a little damp and the fuses have started to pop occasionally. Plus with the odometer reading at over 180,000 miles I figure at this point it time to get a new set a wheels before the next breakdown finds me in the middle of the highway.
So after I do a little car shopping I found my next vehicle last Saturday, put a deposit on it and will pick it up Thursday. On the way home I guess that the Buick has taken exception to this and dropped her exhaust, muffler and all. The car now sounds like a Harley with a bad spark plug.
Am I gonna fix the exhaust of a car I'm donating to charity in 3 days? Hell no. I simply tied the hanging pipes to the frame with some well placed wire hangers and deal with the noise until then. It'll be like 3 days of "I'm Not dead yet".
If anything, the Buick will defiantly will be a memorable car for not just for the 3 days of roaring She was a good car and will be missed.
But I LOVE my new car........ :-)
