Long Live the Godfather of Soul

James Brown died on Xmas Day. This bums me out to no end mostly because I had a chance to see him only a few months ago when he played in New Bedford and I screwed up and missed him.

JB had his problems and demons, but the moniker "The Hardest Working Man in Show Business" is no exaggeration. If you need any further convincing, check out this video - up to a couple a years ago he would place this much energy in a show 6 or 7 times a week.
