Two.
The Almighty Curt gave 6 innings on solid pitching while fighting off 4 Boston errors as The Sox won Game 2 6-2 to get halfway to the promised land. The Cards were given lot of opportunities only to squander them with poor baserunning. It's amazing that The Sox can commit 8 errors in 2 games and still win both of them.
At least we didn't need 11 runs this time.
It's going to be hard to win in St. Louis, but let's maybe hope for a sweep or win in 5 as there is talk that Schilling might not be able to pitch Game 6 as the meatball surgery they have been doing on his ankle might not be able to be done again without doing lasting damage. The suture holding his ankle together snapped again and you can once again see blood seeping from the wound. To me this just makes all this and Schilling that much more a legend in the making.
At least tomorrow night I'll be able to go to bed a little early on the off day. I have a feeling I'll need it this week.
