What The Hey.....

A shameless attempt to jump on the Blog bandwagon.

OK, this s**t ain't funny no more...not even to a Yankee fan.

I have given up hope for The Sox weeks ago when they didn't trade for anyone at the deadline July 31st plus the fact that I didn't think they had enough to endure far in the playoffs anyway, so this downslide is not as painful.

That being said, it's bad enough that they have lost 20 games this month, that almost all are productive players have been sidelined with injuries, but when you find that one of the pitchers is getting tested for cancer, you just have to say something. One has to wonder if Fenway has become a Superfund site or if there is any toxic chemicals in the materials used for the ballpark upgrades. Cancer (or heart ailments) are nothing to smerk about and one cannot think of baseball issues when someone has those issues.

I wonder if management will use Dan Duquette's old line about being in spending more days in first place than any other team?
