Desperate Confessions
Ok, I have to admit it. I'm addicted to Desperate Housewives. I didn't expect to watch more than the first show or two, but now I cannot wait to watch the next episode. And I guess I'm not the only person that did that and got addicted. Capn Ho and Peter David are hooked as well the same way I did. I started watching it to see Teri Hatcher, still looking very good and I'm now hooked on the trashy subplots. It truly is a guilty pleasure, but a pleasure nonetheless.
I also have to admit that I there I was getting into my car to go shopping last Friday morning at 4:30am. And I'm happy that I did. I got some well needed deals, given that we are on a smaller budget this year than most. Early morning Christmas Shopping the day after Thanksgiving is a bit like going to Disney World. It's not as fun, of course, but like WDW you are a candidate for a frontal lobotomy if you go into it without a "battle plan". I grabbed the Thanksgiving newspaper with all the circulars, went through them all, and decided what stores to go to and not to go to and make a list of what to buy and who to buy it for. When I was done I managed to buy for about 70% of our list in one trip. And afterward, I just went home and went back to bed. All in all, it wasn't too bad a time and I'm glad I was able to get alot of shopping done early.
Now I just have to figure out I'm gonna get the Mrs...........
