wha.......wha happened?

Jeez.....what the hell happened?

I went to bed rather early after only getting 4 hours sleep the night before after spending the day at the beach with the Wife and Kids. The last play I saw was David Ortiz sinking one into the Stadium Bleachers in the 6th. I went to bed feeling the Sox had this one with Tim Wakefield fluttering a beauty.

Instead I wake up and see the headine on my Yahoo home page Errors Sink Fading Red Sox 4-2. The Red Sox are now 7 1/2 games behind the The Empire.

Man....WEEI is not gonna be pretty listening to on the way to work this morning. It's really appearing more and more as though as much as the Sox need an extra pitcher before the trading deadine, we might need a solid first baseman more (John Olerud maybe?).
